Winter in Syria has a different story from the rest of the world, where Syrians suffer from a scarcity of heating materials and winter clothes. Schools and educational facilities, in particular suffer from a great shortage of heaters and fuel, which causes many students to drop out of school.
In order to reduce this dropout and to support and encourage students to complete their education, Takaful Al Sham teams annually distribute winter clothes to schools while providing classroom heating for a safe and conducive to learning environment for students in the winter season.
The project included a number of schools in Aleppo, Idleb and their countryside.
