Decent shelter and clean water are essential to life.
In northern Syria, 2 million displaced people live in over 1,500 camps, suffering from a lack of clean water and drinking water, posing real risks of disease outbreaks and various disasters threatening community safety, especially on women and children.
Through dignified shelter, settlements, and providing safe drinking water and sewage networks in several camps, we have reduced pollution and disease risks in the area. We witnessed joy on the faces of thousands of displaced people who dreamed of having decent housing and accessing clean water.
