Many water networks inside Syria have been destroyed, some of them out of service and others poorly in use. This has forced many families to search for other water sources, such as wells whose water is unsafe or even polluted.
Takaful Al Sham rushed to intervene and launched the “Clean Water” project, which is based on employing a trained team that distributes water disinfection tablets, tools and materials to the people and guides them on how to use them properly, in order to reduce the spread of diseases and epidemics among people.
The project included many neighbourhoods in the city of Aleppo in northern Syria.
