Adolescents and Youth Empowerment Program

Adolescents and youth are the leaders of tomorrow and empowering them ensures a better society.

Why Adolescents and Youth Empowerment Program?

After years of a protracted war, displacement, and seeking refuge, Syrian adolescents and youth continue to suffer from numerous problems, most notably psychological, morality, and self-esteem issues, a lack of self-awareness, and a life devoid of identity or purpose. This can lead to a bleak future for them and the community, as they are the generations to come.

For the sixth consecutive year, the Ru'ya program continues to empower Syrian adolescents by graduating new groups of young men and women adolescents in both Syria and Türkiye. As the only multi-country program which focuses on the neglected age group, these adolescents and youth have completed training modules covering personal and critical thinking skills, social skills, values and ethics, identity and purpose, and career paths, in addition to coming up with and implementing community initiatives and purposeful outdoor activities.
